Hello Framar Fans, to start with i want to thank you for bracing us with your presents on our wonderful blog.
Finally our boat has been accepted by the Nation Historical Ships and shall be protected as an Historical revolutionary marvel of the time when man and machine had to learn to get along and help us out of the gloomy war zones.
Also in the early years James Taylor joined up with the bates and both blossomed int great boat building masters.
James Taylor built boats for Royalty and high class people, and Framar was built as a Gentleman's Boat, there is some whispers that she was used by the government at some time, and possible for secret confidential use.
The raises the thought to the kind of people Framar would have played host to around 1937-47. Maybe men of politics or of high standards.
This boat has had many different looks and personalities, But right now the boat needs our help to keep the boat from falling to decay, that's why we are hoping to share the care for her with other people, in return for help or sponsors, we hope to keep framar safe.
Right now the boat is fighting the high waters of the Boston river in Lincolnshire, where the waters are being un predictable, and have already caused other boats their fatality.
Framar is a very strong boat, and will not tip over but if water currents get too bad she could break away and drift. We just have to hope she pulls through this heck-tic end of 2012.
I am going to add a load of images from highlights of our 1st year with our 1st Boat.
As we have been writing a new History.
